Running With Bulls Barossa Garnacha 2021 (Australia)

Running With Bulls Barossa Garnacha 2021 (Australia)

"This is so bright and fresh with aromas of sweet spices and raspberries, some whole-bunchy kick, as well as white pepper and orange peel. The palate has a vivid, crunchy texture and tangy, rich raspberry flavors. Blueberries and boysenberries to close" James Suckling, Jamessuckling. com, Oct 2021

"Sweetly ripe with spicy nuances, the bouquet shows dark plum, clove, star anise, and rich floral aromas. The palate delivers succulent fruit flavours with fleshy texture and silky tannins, making it supple and flavoursome with a lingering, smooth finish" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jul 2025

"Light ruby-red with a garnet hue, even colour throughout. The nose is softly full, with aromas of mulberry, cherry, floral and spices. Medium-bodied, with aromas of cherry and mulberry intermixed with violet, bubble gum and subtle spice. The fruit is succulent and generous with a light tannin structure and balanced acidity" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, Jul 2025

Aromas of raspberry, mulberry and violet petal. Flavours of strawberry and blueberry.

Born from a different attitude and different approach. We bucked tradition, championing
Spanish varietals from the Barossa made in a bright, exciting style. This Barossa Garnacha
is unoaked and bottled early to capture the vibrancy of this juicy wine. Perfect as is, or
slightly chilled.

Good winter and spring rains set the vines up for the growing season, producing healthy canopy growth. Summer was warm to mild with cool nights that led to the development of pristine aromatics and flavours. The wines of the 2021 vintage have balance, style and wonderful varietal characteristics.

A fresh Garnacha made in a ‘Joven’ style; unoaked and bottled early as a juicy, lively wine. The Grenache ripened early, allowing us to co-ferment with a small amount (4%) of Tempranillo. Some whole bunches were included in the ferment to add spice and texture to the wine.

Food Pairing: Mediterranean tapas, like chargrilled squid.
