Delicate floral aromas and citrus peel notes. Rest rained yet elegant, with layers of lemon and melon that linger through a crisp, dry finish.
An excellent flowering period and consistent rainfall resulted in even crops and heal thy canopies. As a result , our start date was later , giving the fruit extra ‘hang time’ to develop more flavours across all varieties.
Our Lodge Block Riesling is located on the stony, alluvial flood plain of the Omaka River . Harvested at peak flavour maturity, gently pressed and the juice tasted throughout the press cycle to capture the essence of this variety. The wine was prepared for bottling following a short time in tank on light yeast lees.
