Tea Tree Gully South Australia Shiraz 2022 (Australia)

Tea Tree Gully South Australia Shiraz 2022 (Australia)

  • Subtle oak
  • Blueberry & plum
  • Toasted nut
  • Dry tannins

Sweet dark fruit aromas of blueberry, plum and blackcurrant. The nose is fragrant with clove and toasted nut aromas. The palate is rounded with succulent flavours of aniseed, vibrant dark fruit, pepper and chocolate. Firm, dry tannins, subtle oak and rich well balanced aged characteristics.

The Tea Tree Gully runs through the Mt. Lofty Ranges in the Adelaide foothills. Our wines represent the culture, spirit and traditions of the pioneering travellers who negotiated this rugged countryside. The wine is striking with impressive fruit concentration.

The Tea Tree Gully 2022 Shiraz was produced from fruit grown in the Riverland area, South Australia. Following harvest the fruit underwent a 7 day cool soak before fermentation. After 10 days skin contact the wine was pressed and aged in French oak barrels for 6 months prior to blending and bottling.

Food Pairing: Slow cooked BBQ brisket or a strong hard cheese such as cheddar.
