They craft Toi Toi Light Rosé from grapes sourced across New Zealand’s best wine growing regions –from Gisborne and the Hawkes Bay to Marlborough, Waipara and Central Otago.
Across New Zealand, vintage 2021, will be remembered for low yields and high quality fruit giving powerful and characterful wines. The Toi Toi Rose is a multi-regional New Zealand blend that shows off the extraordinary power and purity that vintage 2021 gave them.
To create a lower in alcohol wine, the important factor isn’t taking away – it’s ensuring the flavour stays. It’s all in the fruit selection. They select fruit with bright aromatic qualities and varietal intensity. When the alcohol is reduced in the winemaking process, these notes and flavors are retained, as is the zesty and refreshing mouthfeel of the wines.
