Triplebank Marlborough Pinot Noir Rosé 2025

The wine is a subtle tea-rose pink, and shows aromas of red fruits and creamy almond notes reminiscent of fresh strawberry shortcake. The palate is dry and full, with raspberry and pomegranate sorbet flavours and fresh, characteristic, Awatere acidity. The intense fruit flavours persist on the finish. This wine is ready to drink upon release, and will be best consumed within two years.

In the more southern Awatere Valley, the soils are composed of three distinct layers: a thin semi-fertile soil, a middle layer of river stones and shingle, and all underpinned by an impervious mudstone layer that effectively prevents the roots of the vines from penetrating further and hence controls the vine’s vigour.

Now, this land produces pungent grapes that reflect the raw nature of Marlborough’s wildest valley with the vivid flavours captured in every bottle of Triplebank wine. Our winemaking philosophy is to capture and accentuate the essence of what has proved to be a distinctive winegrowing area.

Food Pairing: Try this as a delicious brunch wine alongside smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, or hotcakes with summer berries. Platters including cured meats such as parma ham and soft cheese will be fabulous too.
