Villa Maria Cellar Selection Marlborough Pinot Noir Rosé 2024

Villa Maria Cellar Selection Marlborough Pinot Noir Rosé 2024

The 2024 Cellar Selection Marlborough Pinot Noir Rosé has delicate aromas of fresh berries and white peach with complexing hints of dried rose petals and violets. Flavours of pomegranate and watermelon are carried by refreshing acidity and subtle mineral like textures. Enjoy all year round.

Scale_-_Dry

Low rainfall over winter and cooler weather at flowering resulted in reduced crop yield for the 2024 harvest. The growing season progressed with Marlborough's classic dry conditions, warm days and cool nights. The idyllic weather and low crops produced pristine grapes with concentrated flavours and fresh acidity.

The Pinot Noir grapes are harvested in the cool of the morning and gently pressed to take the desired amount of colour. The clear juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks using select aromatic and textural yeast strains. The wine is left on yeast lees for a closely monitored period to build palate weight and texture without compromising freshness.

Food Pairing: Serve chilled and enjoy with salmon, smoked fish, white meats or summer salads.
