Deep magenta in colour with a crimson hue. Dark cherries and plums are among the rich, ripe, red and purple fruits with a lovely balance of savoury, dried herb aromas. The palate is sweet fruited and full with distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon tannins. Dry conditions during winter and spring were followed by warm weather in December. Careful irrigation management guided our vineyards through the growing season. In March, the temperature changed and proved remarkably mild with cool nights contributing to wonderful freshness and balance in our Cabernet grapes.
