Medium to deep red in colour. Alluring aromas of crushed flowers, black cherries, blackcurrant, oregano and cinnamon. A bright palate with crunchy pomegranate, redcurrant and choc-cherry flavours that finishes with lovely tannins.
A cool winter with lighter than average rainfall.
Mild, dry weather through the growing season produced grapes with great flavour concentration. Summer was full of sunshine and dry weather, apart from 31mm of rain at the end of January, which was great for the vines to finish ripening the grapes.
