Yering Station Little Yering Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2018 (Australia)

Yering Station Little Yering Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2018 (Australia)

"It’s ripe and elegantly spicy on the nose showing strawberry, red cherry, dried herb and toasted nut aromas, followed by a finely textured palate that’s smooth and supple. It’s well balanced with sweet fruit flavours backed by polished tannins, finishing silky and lingering. At its best: now to 2022" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2019

"A delicious, complete wine with dark cherry fruit, good palate tension, lively acidity and succulence" Toni Paterson, Master of Wine, Real Review

This Pinot Noir displays a bright cherry red, in the glass, making it a very inviting wine! This is accompanied by intense aromas of red cherry and raspberry fruit, the scents are delightfully perfumed and ethereal. The palate is a classic Pinot style, lovely cherry and red fruit overlayed with savoury spices. A silky concentration provides richness and length, leaving a beautiful natural balance.

A wet Winter delayed budburst creating a typical cool climate growing season. Vine balance and an even ripening period delivered grapes with exceptional flavour, structure and fineness.

Food Pairing: Match this Pinot Noir with a delicious one pan chicken & orzo or a turkey and potato curry.
