Abe Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2025

Abe Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2025

"It's fabulously fruited and aromatic on the nose, showing kiwifruit, kaffir lime, green rockmelon, and white floral aromas. The palate is equally satisfying with excellent weight and fruit intensity, splendidly supported by juicy acidity, finishing long and delectable. At its best: now to 2028" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Sep 2025

Bright and zesty, with passionfruit and lime aromatics. Generous tropical fruit layers sit over a fresh herbaceous backbone, while ripe acidity drives a dry, lively palate of peach, citrus, and spice.

Abe is more than wine - its a feeling. A quiet exhale. A Golden hour glow. Made from those who seek beauty, blance and a little freedom from the everyday. Your beautiful escape awaits. Crafted for those who crave stillness, beauty, and a little freedom from the everyday. Every bottle invites you to slow down, wander off course, and lose yourself in the moment.

The season began with a warm, early spring that encouraged strong flowering and generous fruit set. Careful vineyard work, including crop thinning, ensured balance across the blocks. A cooler midsummer slowed ripening, extending hang-time and enhancing flavour development. By March, a stretch of settled sunshine delivered ideal conditions for the final ripening phase. Harvest began on 22 March and wrapped up just before April rains, with fruit showing exceptional freshness, concentration, and aromatic purity — hallmarks of a classic Marlborough vintage.

The fruit was de-stemmed, lightly pressed with minimal skin contact, and the clear juice cold-settled before a cool stainless-steel fermentation with neutral yeasts to showcase pure, vibrant fruit expression. The wine was then rested on its fine lees, adding texture, subtle savoury complexity, and enhanced palate weight. Bottled 4 September 2025.
