BM Marlborough Pinot Noir Rosé 2022 by Black Market

  • Fresh stonefruit
  • Florals
  • Juicy acidity
  • Dry style

"The inviting bouquet shows ripe nectarine, watermelon, lemon peel and white floral aromas, followed by a succulent palate offering bright fruit intensity together with fleshy texture and juicy acidity, making it super tasty and instantly appealing. At its best: now to 2024" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jun 2022

Made from 100% Pinot Noir from a blend of Hawkesbury & Kintyre Vineyards – Upper Wairau and Southern Valleys. The fruit was harvested in the cool of the morning and gently pressed off.  The resultant juice is 100% free run allowing us to retain the perfect colour, aroma and delicate structure.  The juice was traditionally fermented at cool temperatures and was stopped naturally but retaining a small amount of residual sugar.  The wines were then blended and stabilised before being bottled in early July.

Food Pairing: This wine pairs effortlessly with cheeses and cured meats, bruschetta, summer salads and creamy pasta dishes.
