100% Verdicchio grapes grown in 15 year old vines in the Marche/Matelica region.

Wine ages for 8 months in stainless steel and then a further 4 months in bottle.

The etymology of the name comes from the Latin “vertere” (“to turn”) and means “the highest point”. Vertis is our greater expression of the belonging grape variety: obtained through grapes ​​from ancient vineyards, which are about twenty years old and South-facing, it is a wine with two years of ageing and has features allowing to uniquely recognize the Verdicchio di Matelica.
