"Bold fruits with a savoury nuance and earthiness and a spicy palate with flavours of cherries and a fine sand-like profile. A supple, rich wine with a lengthy finish" Cuisine Magazine, Apr 2020

"This ageworthy, organically certified red was estate-grown and matured in French oak barriques. Fullcoloured, it is mouthfilling, concentrated, savoury and structured, with ripe cherry, plum, spice and nut flavours, slightly earthy notes adding complexity, real depth through the palate and a long finish" Winestate Magazine, Oct 2019

Vibrant fruit with fragrant aromatics are the hallmarks of this wine. The vintage was slightly lighter than the 2016 with red fruits to the fore. The wine shows texture and a lingering finish.

All fruit hand-picked, natural yeasts, on skins for three weeks. Matured in French oak, 20% new. Bottled September 2018, without fining or filtration. Minimal addition of preservative.
