Casali del Barone Piemonte DOC Barbera 2024 (Italy)
Aromas of roasted plum, grilled cherry and spice on the nose. The wine delivers ample dark fruits on the palate, with dark chocolate, coffee beans and cinnamon and a nice spicy finish.
Made from a blend of 85% Barbera and 15% Nebbiolo, this ripe and tasty Barbera from Piemonte has been aged in oak for 3 months. The grapes are handpicked and carefully selected on the tables in the cellar. The vinification at controlled temperature is followed by a skin maceration for 10 days with daily pumping over. The wine is then aged in big wooden barrels for 3 months.
Food Pairing: It is ideal with cold cuts and mature cheeses and perfect with chocolate desserts.
