This Chardonnay is a bold wine grown from some of the oldest vines in California. Gnarly Head’s untamed vines produce full-flavored grapes, abundant with aromas of mango, lemon-lime, and graham cracker. Flavors of Fuji apple, kiwi, and lemon-lime make this Chardonnay complex and layered with flavor. This bright and tropical wine boasts a medium body and rounded mouthfeel, with a long, clean finish for those who like bold wines with a little attitude.

1 x Stoneweaver Single Vineyard Organic Marlborough Chardonnay 2020

The bouquet shows light peach, nutmeg spice and a hint of vanilla and cream. The palate has a mixture of peach and tangelo fruit finishing with an orange skin tang of minerality.

This wine is certified Organic with BioGro plus being vegan and vegetarian friendly. The 2020 Stoneweaver Chardonnay is sourced from the  Kennedy Road in the Omaka Valley, Southern Valley region. The Chardonnay vines are well established in a mixture of glacial outwash soils – soils exhibiting a mix of clay and stony gravels.

Food Pairing: Cheese and walnut tart, white fish in batter, crumbs or cream chicken and tarragon pie.
