Medium-full bodied, aromas of peach and nectarine interweaved with peach blossom, vanilla and creamy custard. The aromas in this 2021 Chardonnay are classic and complex, showing notes of lemon curd, sweet oak and toasted almond. The palate is rich and creamy, with layers of nectarine, citrus, and roasted nut. This wine is round and full with a warm toasted finish.
Consisting of 40% handpicked Chardonnay grapes from select vineyards in the Marlborough region. Renowned for its high sunshine hours, warmer days, and cooler evenings.
Once harvested, the grapes were transported swiftly to the winery before being pressed and fermented in 100% new and seasoned French barriques. This chardonnay spent 9 months on lees to add depth, complexity, and flavour to the wine.
