This lighter styled wine has luscious aromas of blackcurrant, green capsicum, and blossom aromas. The juicy palate has refreshing flavours of ripe green apple, currant, and a nettle thread. Perfect for drinking all summer long, this wine will cellar beautifully for the next three years.
The grapes for this Sauvignon Blanc were harvested early March from carefully selected Vineyard sights in the Marlborough region. These grapes showcase deliciously ripe flavours and sharp acidity when the sugar levels are lower than usual, creating a fresh and fruit driven wine that is lower alcohol. The fruit is gently pressed in the winery to ensure fresh aromatics and ripe fruit flavours.
Fermented in cool stainless-steel tanks and halted mid-way when the alcohol reached a target range, crafting a wine that is low alcohol and full in flavour. This young Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc was then blended and prepared for bottling, ready to enjoy.
