Faultline Reserve Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Faultline Reserve Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2022

  • Dry style
  • Passionfruit
  • Melon
  • Well-balanced

"Bright and instantly appealing, the wine shows green rockmelon, kiwifruit and lime zest aromas, leading to a flavoursome palate that's filled with vibrant fruit flavours. Well supported by fine texture and juicy acidity, making it highly enjoyable. At its best: now to 2024" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2022

The Faultline Reserve is crisp and fresh with vibrant aromas of tropical passionfruit. Well-balanced acidity and refreshing tropical notes. Flavours of ripe grapefruit and melon with a subtle herbal thread, and salty minerality, leading to a long lingering finish.

Fruit for this wine was sourced from several vineyards within Marlborough, predominantly in the lower Wairau sub-region.

The fruit was carefully monitored during ripening and after harvest the juice was pressed off immediately to minimise skin contact and juice deterioration. Fermentation took place in 100 per cent stainless steel at cool temperatures to retain aromatics and fresh fruit flavour.

Food Pairing: Enjoy it on its own or with juicy garlic prawns.
