This wine is lively with fragrant aromas of strawberries and cream, along with raspberry, ripe red apple and delicate white florals. The palate has an elegant structure with juicy red fruits. An appealingly textured wine, it is refreshing with a lingering finish.
The grapes for this wine were sourced from two blocks from a single vineyard located in Marlborough’s Lower Wairau Valley, owned by the Holdaway Family.
We harvested and fermented the two parcels of different clones separately, about 10 days apart. Both parcels were crushed and pressed immediately to retain both the fresh fruit flavours and the delicate pale pink colour.
