Misty Cove’s Estate Blush Sauvignon Blanc is a whimsical creation from our vineyards nestled in the upper Wairau Valley. The stony, ancient riverbed soils work their magic, giving birth to a wine that is both fun and fresh, perfectly capturing the unique essence of Marlborough’s environment.
This wine is a delightful blend of Sauvignon Blanc with a touch of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. All fruit was carefully harvested in the cool morning hours, gently pressed, and cool-fermented. Sauvignon Blanc was handled in stainless steel tanks, while Chardonnay and Pinot Noir fermented in older French oak barriques. After maturing separately, we blended these varietals to achieve a harmonious balance of fruity flavours, fresh mouthfeel, and alluring colour.
Food Pairing: Grilled shrimp will bring out the wine’s bright acidity and fruitiness, while a goat cheese salad enhances its crispness with creamy textures and tangy flavours.
