Spicy and highly textured, the Landmark Sauvignon Gris has notes of stone fruit and crisp citrus flavours on finely balanced acidity; and the palate will develop delicate honey undertones over time.
The juice was fermented at cool temperatures to allow the natural flavours to shine and then was allowed to age gracefully on yeast lees for 3 months before being lightly filtered and bottled in July 2021.
Misty Cove’s Landmark Sauvignon Gris is deeply influenced by old world winemaking techniques. Lovingly handcrafted in small batch quantities, we crafted this wine to reflect the “Landmark” – the attributes and characteristics of the Rapaura, Selmes Road vineyard from which it originated.
