Pale straw with green hues. A complex and expressive nose showing passionfruit, crushed herb and blackcurrant with undertones of boxwood and citrus pith. A wine of striking fruit purity and concentration with fresh but balanced acidity and great length of flavour. Drinking well now; this wine can be enjoyed until late 2025.
Our Limited Release Sauvignon Blanc was made from a selection of our most expressive fruit from the 2023 vintage. The wine was made almost entirely from fruit from the warmer Wairau Valley subregion in Marlborough with a smaller percentage coming from the cooler and drier Awatere Valley. The wine we’ve made shows impeccable fruit expression, concentration and balance.
Grapes were crushed and destemmed prior to pressing and fermentation was induced by the introduction of carefully selected yeast strains. We fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures to preserve the lifted aromatics in this wine.
Food Pairng: Great as an aperitif or match with seafood, white meats, pasta, salads or Asian cuisine.
