"This is delectably appealing with black/blueberry, toasted spice, cocoa and assorted nut aromas on the nose. It's beautifully weighted and flavoursome in the mouth displaying terrific fruit richness and plush mouthfeel, finishing long and succulent. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jan 2022
"Aromas of a youthful wine with scents of crushed rocks and dark plums, some baking spices and a light vanilla wood quality, dark roses and red berries. Dry, youthful, taut and fresh on the palate. Flavours of plums and berries precede flavours of rocky earth and spices. Firm tannins and acidity deliver texture and foundational structure. Well made, salivating and dry. A classic wine from an outstanding producer. Best drinking from late 2022 through 2028+. this wine presents excellent value and will work well with many high protein dishes or cheese" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Jan 2022
Garnet red. Red fruit aromas (mainly morello cherry and strawberry). This wine is well-structured with firm tannins. Aromas are complex of spices and fruits.
The vineyards of this Côtes-du-Rhône come from different soils (from 4 neighbouring regions: Drôme, Vaucluse, Gard and Ardèche) such as clay-calcareous alluvial deposit terraces and clay. Providing this wine an incredible richness and complexity.
The wine is aged in vats and the blending is performed by the end of spring.
The whole grapes are destemmed. A two-week vat time provides a great tannic structure compulsory to its ageing and a good stability. The grapes are hand-harvested at maturity.
