A wonderful 5 star Single Vineyard Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc for only $17.99 despite a retail price of $32.99! Totally showing off the Awatere Valley at its best.
There is only one pallet remaining before this Sauv will run out, leaving us all waiting in anticipation for the 2022 vintage to be ready in July. The grapes were machine harvested and pressed, with the juice settled and then racked to stainless steel tanks. The juice was inoculated with two different yeasts and went through a measured cool fermentation. The wine spent a little time on lees post ferment, and was then stabilised and cross flow filtered before being prepared for bottling. The growing season was early and dry with smaller, more concentrated berries, packed with lots of flavour.
