A refreshing single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough’s central valley.
This Sauvignon Blanc has a beautiful crisp green thread, with notes of passionfruit, lime zest and grapefruit on the nose. On the palate there are notes of crunchy green apples, fresh gooseberry, and a crisp minerality on the finish.
The fruit was sourced from a single vineyard in Blenheim. This site has fertile, deep silt soils. The fruit was carefully monitored during ripening and harvested at maximum flavour maturity and physiological ripeness.
The juice was pressed off immediately to minimise skin contact and juice deterioration following harvesting. After settling, the juice was fermented using a variety of selected yeast in 100 per cent stainless steel at cool temperatures to retain fruit flavour and freshness.
Food Pairing: Well paired with fresh seafood including Bluff Oysters or Green Lip mussels.
