Mystery Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2021 (04) (Export Wine)

Black Market Mystery Wines™ are simply wines we love, with the branding hidden and revealed only when it arrives at your door!

Please note: This product was produced and bottled in Hawke's Bay, however the juice the wine has been made with is from Marlborough.

"Punchy and flavoursome, it's intensely aromatic on the nose showing green rock melon, kiwifruit, sweet basil and lime zest aromas. The palate delivers terrific fruit purity combined with vibrant acidity, finishing lingering and delectable. At its best: now to 2024" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2022

"Herbaceous, fruity and tropical with aromas of basil and green herbs, citrus and mango then a touch of tomato leaf. Juicy, fruity, herbaceous and dry on the palate. Flavours mirror the bouquet with a green apple note, plenty of acidity with a balanced, youthful, even finish" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Nov 2022

The Sauvignon Blanc has ripe tropical and gooseberry fruit flavours with a zingy finish and impeccable balance. A great aperitif or seafood wine made for drinking young. Serve lightly chilled.

Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from New Zealand vineyards, predominantly the Marlborough region with a range of soil types including gravels, silt and clay loam. The different characteristics of these sites provide depth and complexity of flavour in the wines.

Cool fermented in stainless steel with a range of yeast types to retain the aromatic fruit characters, this wine is bottled young to preserve the fresh, vibrant style.

Food Pairing: Seafood and Asian cuisine, or drink as an aperitif with friends.
