Mystery Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2022 (12)
- Dry style
- Ripe citrus
- Kiwi fruit
- Mouth-watering
"Vibrant, pungent and classic bouquet with flavours of fresh citrus and apple flesh, some grapefruit, herb and spice moments. Loaded with minerality and a back bone of acidity that enhances a herbaceous quality and delivers a decent mouthful of flavour and texture. Well-made and ready to drink from late 2022 through 2025" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
"Intense Sauvignon with tropical fruit, passionfruit, guava, pineapple, lemongrass and green capsicum flavours. Crisp, punchy wine" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review
Bright aromatics with hints, feijoa, kiwi fruit and ripe citrus tones. Distinctive yellow capsicum on palate back up by an array tropical fruit. The wine is dry, with a mouth-watering line of fine acid and flavoursome length. Easy to drink on its own, or to match with food.
Sourced from multiple sites in the Wairau and Waihopai Valleys on fertile silts, clay, and stony exriverbed soil types.
Winemaking is all about preserving each site’s individual identity, so it’s kept simple. Juices from each vineyard are kept separate and fermented with an appropriate yeast in stainless steel tanks. Individual wines are then blended according to our idea of a complementary whole.
Food Pairing: Versatile on the table; try green lipped mussels or other shellfish, Caesar salad and pesto based dishes.
