Mystery Waiheke Island Rosé 2022

  • Dry style
  • Raspberries
  • Pomegranate
  • Long juicy finish

"Fantastic pink hued appearance with an equally exciting bouquet of fresh raspberry and cherry flesh, red apple skin and raspberry. All these aromas turn into flavour on the palate accentuated by a backbone of acidity and fine fresh texture. Well-made and very new still. best drinking from late 2022 through 2025" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, The Shout NZ, Sep 2022

"Bright, even, pale raspberry-blush pink. The nose is full and expressive, with aromas of rose petals underlying pomegranate, red berry, cherry and a touch of zest. Medium-bodied, aromas of pomegranate, red berry and cherry enriched by rose petals, the zesty element added spice to the finish. The mouthfeel is dusty and smooth, supported by mouthwatering acidity. This fruit has richness and floral fragrance, adding interest. This Rosé is elegant with a red fruit base, and floral details possess a rich, silky palate and zesty acidity" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, Sep 2022

Off-dry to taste, macerated cherries & raspberries are offset by blood orange & pomegranate. A beautiful mouthfeel with real presence leads to a refreshingly long juicy finish. Mouth candy with mojo... this flaming Dame recruits the coolest of admirers.
