A rain-filled spring followed by a dry, sunny summer provided a ideal combination to make the 2012 Millésime an exceptional vintage. Modest production along with a magnificent maturity of the grapes contributed to an extraordinary aromatic concentration. Elegant Chardonnay blended with powerful Pinot Noir to produce rich, perfectly balanced wines.
The 2012 vintage is comprised of Pinot Noir (52%) and Chardonnay (48%) grapes sourced primarily from Grand Crus and Permiers Crus. The Cuvée is selected and accentuated through ore than 5 years of ageing on lees.
Since its founding in 1785, the House of Piper-Heidsieck has proven its innovative prowess in selecting and blending wines of exception.
