River Delta Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2026

River Delta Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2026

"Fresh and bright, the aromatic bouquet shows notes of Granny Smith apple, grapefruit, rockmelon, and garden herbs. The palate offers excellent fruit power and juicy fruit intensity, leading to a long, vibrant finish. At its best: now to 2028" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jun 2026

Vibrant aromatics of gooseberry, ripe melon and mandarin. A bright fusion of tropical fruits and fresh minerality, enhanced by hints of blackcurrant bud.

The fruit was selected from vineyards in Marlborough's Wairau Valley and Southern Valley subregions. Each vineyard's yield was carefully managed and fruit monitored throughout the entire 2026 growing season by Heather and the team.

2026 was a dream vintage thanks to no frost and very little disease. The spring was warm with below average rainfall and then, in January we received some rain just at the right time to avoid water stress. These conditions supported superb fruit quality and vibrant flavours.

The grapes were machine harvested and transported promptly to the winery to be lightly pressed. The juice was lightly settled, then cool fermented with selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks, to retain the vibrant fresh flavours and intense aromatics. Heather carefully selected her preferred blend prior to final bottling.
