Rockburn Stolen Kiss Central Otago Rosé 2025 Magnum 1.5L
"Finely expressed and enticing, the bouquet presents nuances of wild strawberry, watermelon, crisp apple, and lemon peel. It's equally appealing in the mouth, delivering juicy fruit flavours with fine texture and bright acidity, finishing persistent and delectable. At its best: now to 2028" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Sep 2025

"Aromas and flavours of summer berries and mineral, lees and tropical fruits. Delicious with a satin-cream texture framed by a lively acid line and core of red berry fruits that reflect the bouquet and flow onto the palate seamlessly. Fine tannins, a fruity core, plenty of texture and roundness. Balanced, well made and ready to drink from day of purchase through January 2027" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Sep 2025
Strawberries and cream, cherries both red and black, a little blueberry, a little grapefruit zest.
Born out of a cheeky moment in 2006 when winemaker Malcolm Rees-Francis “stole” some Pinot Noir grapes destined for Rockburn’s Central Otago flagship Pinot Noir, this flirty pink creation quickly became one of New Zealand’s most adored rosés.
Crafted from 100% Central Otago Pinot Noir, the 2025 vintage is bright, breezy, and utterly irresistible. Bursting with playful notes of candy-floss, strawberry, crème brûlée, and a cheeky hint of toffee apple, it’s a juicy, joyful ode to sunshine, long lunches, and precious moments.
2025 was a smaller harvest at Rockburn with lower yields, but the result is outstanding quality. Concentrated, characterful Pinot Noir (Rosé) and expressive wines destined to be highly prized.
Food Pairing: Best enjoyed chilled on sultry afternoons and evenings.
