This 2023 Sauvignon Blanc pays homage to the whales that were almost hunted to extinction in the 1800’s and the continued modern-day quest for their conversation. Fruit driven and generous, this Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc displays fresh aromas of blackcurrant, cut grass and apple blossom. The palate is bold and herbaceous with ripe green characters and currant.
The fruit for this wine was sourced from different vineyards around the Marlborough region, each selected due to their ripe characteristics and quality. At the winery, the parcels were pressed immediately off their skins before being fermented in stainless steel tanks. The resulting wine was blended and prepared for bottling by our team of expert winemakers.
