The Acorn Marlborough Pinot Gris 2023

The Acorn Marlborough Pinot Gris 2023

"Elegantly and finely scented, the inviting bouquet shows poached pear, green rockmelon, Gala apple and jasmine nuances, leading to a succulent palate that's fleshy and lingering. Splendidly composed and expressed with balance and structure, offering excellent drinking. At it's best now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Sep 2024

"Aromas and flavours of fresh green pear and apple, some suggestions of white spice and white nectarine. Balanced and well made, fresh, just dry and ready to drink. A refreshing delicate saline acidity, a fine lees quality and even finish. Ready to drink style from day of purchase through 2026" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Sep 2024

A bright fine lemon yellow, apple flower and hints of spice, texture and bright acidity provide a long lingering finish.

All vineyards and the winery are Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand (SWNZ) accredited.

The cooperative began in 2012 with a small group of like-minded growers wanting to take more control over their end product. Since then the cooperative has grown to over 80 members and nearly 800 hectares all across the subregions of Marlborough.
