He gradually expanded and restructured the vineyard, which now covers 22.5 hectares, producing silky Merlot dominate clarets that consistently win awards in global wine competitions.
A classic Bordeaux blend of 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Château Puy de Guirande is choke full of classic blackcurrant and plummy fruit. Soft and smooth, great current drinking but will keep for another 5-7 years.
