The Sisters Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2025
"It's fabulously aromatic on the nose, showing crunchy apple, green rock melon, fig, and lemon zest aromas. The palate delivers bright fruit intensity with juicy acidity, making it flavoursome and lingering. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2025
This Sauvignon Blanc delivers everything you’d hope for from this classic Marlborough varietal. Citrus and passionfruit aromatics leap from the glass, and the palate has wonderful tropical, grapefruit and lime flavours balanced by fresh herbaceous notes. Juicy and succulent with a supple texture and good length of flavour, it is well-balanced and has a refreshing, crisp finish.
We pick each of the Sauvignon Blanc vineyard blocks as the flavours reach their most intense and the grapes are fully ripe. The grapes for this wine delivered excellent aromatics and delicious, concentrated flavours.
After machine-harvesting in the cool of the early morning and carefully removing the stems, the grapes were pressed and the juice chilled and settled for 48 hours. It was then put into stainless steel tanks, and a selected yeast strain was added to enhance the wine’s fresh and fruity characters during fermentation. After a little more time in tank the wine was blended and bottled.
Food Pairing: Although ideal as a refreshing glass of wine on its own, this Sauvignon Blanc is perfect paired with seafood, salads, Asian-inspired flavours and anything you think it tastes good with!
