Three Miners Miner’s Right Central Otago Pinot Gris 2024

"Charming and elegantly expressed, showing green rockmelon, Asian pear, lemon peel, and subtle ginger spice notes on the nose. The palate offers succulent fruit flavours with supple texture and juicy acidity, making it refreshing and lingering. At its best: now to 2028" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jul 2025

Scale_-_Dry

"This Alexandra Pinot Gris possesses excellent fruit weight and flavour, accompanied by crunchy acidity and rich aromatics. Moreish and appetizing" Candice Chow, Wine Chat

Fresh aromas of nashi pear and orange blossom on the nose lead into a rich but balanced palate with excellent fruit weight and a long, clean and morish finish.

The fruit was hand harvested on the 9th of April 2024 at 22.7 Brix from the Three Miners Vineyard, near Alexandra. The fruit was whole-bunch pressed and allowed to settle in tank for 24 hrs before being racked, warmed and inoculated with selected yeast. The juice was fermented at a cool temperature to retain flavour. Fermentation was stopped once flavour, sugar and acid balance was reached.

Food Pairing: Antipasto, roast chicken, seafood, cheese.
