The Clifford Bay Sauvignon Blanc is a pure expression of Marlborough’s Awatere Valley. Aromas of fresh snow pea, jalapeño and kaffir lime reflect the cooler, windier conditions of this subregion. Lively acidity carries delicate flavours of raspberry and lemon zest to a long and persistent finish.
The 2025 vintage was marked by abundant yields and Marlborough’s classic settled weather, which allowed for slow and even ripening. The result is elegant wines with exceptional purity and freshness.
Once at optimal ripeness, the grapes are harvested and gently pressed. The clear juice is fermented at cool temperatures with select yeast strains to promote bright aromas and crisp flavours. The individual components are carefully blended before bottling in their youth to capture freshness.
