"Wonderfully styled and seductively appealing with nectarine, vanilla, roasted hazelnut and brioche aromas, it's plump and creamy in the mouth delivering charming flow and persistency. Complex and flavoursome, making it delectably appealing. At its best: now to 2025" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jun 2022
A stylish Chardonnay with fragrant aromas of ripe nectarine and roasted hazelnut and vanilla notes. The palate is elegant and silky with stone fruit and brioche pastry flavours, with a subtle oak character. An attractive, easy-drinking style with a long, lingering finish. Drinking well now and will continue to evolve and gain complexity over the next few years.
Fruit for this wine was harvested from a select number of Marlborough vineyards, predominantly in the Awatere Valley of Marlborough.
The wine is partially fermented in seasoned French oak and these nutty oak notes support the bright fruit flavours.
Food Pairing: Match with a creamy mushroom and blue cheese risotto.
