Wooing Tree 1401 Central Otago Late Harvest Gewürztraminer 2023 (375ml)
"Gorgeously styled and expressed, the enticing bouquet shows orange marmalade, lychee, grilled pineapple, and rich floral aromas. The palate is concentrated and richly textured with seductive sweetness, wonderfully balanced by bright acidity, finishing persistent and delicious. At its best: now to 2033" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Aug 2025

"Bright, even, pale yellow gold. The nose is full and lush, with aromas of lychee, pineapple, orange, rose petals, Turkish delight, marshmallow and delicate spice. Medium-light-bodied, sweet to taste, aromas of lychee, orange and pineapple melded with fresh ginger, marshmallow and rose petals. The fruit shows purity and concentration; balanced acidity carries a luscious, delightful finish" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, May 2025
This wine shows delightful aromas of pink grapefruit, mandarin and turkish delight with honey, pear, pineapple and a citrus finish on the palate.
100% Gewürztraminer grapes were late harvested on 30th May 2023 allowing them time to ripen fully and produce a considerable amount of sugar. The juice was fermented in stainless steel to retain the varietal and fruit characteristics. The ferment was then stopped to retain a residual sugar of 130g/l.
Food Pairing: This wine is a perfect match with desserts or cheeses and can be enjoyed on its own. Best served slightly chilled.
