Wooing Tree Central Otago Tickled Pink 2021 (375ml)
"This is enticing and immediately appealing on the nose, showing watermelon, candied orange, mango and subtle spice aromas, followed by a succulent palate displaying elegant sweetness and silky texture, well supported by bright acidity, making it deliciously appealing. At its best: now to 2026" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2023

"Bright, even, pale salmon pink with some depth. The nose is full; vibrant aromas of strawberry, cherry and stonefruit melded with rose. Medium-full bodied, sweet to taste, aromas of rose lead the palate with strawberry, cherry and stonefruit. Sweetness provides a round mouthfeel and lively acidity supported and balanced. This dessert wine is easy drinking with upfront fruit and a balanced sweet flow" Candice Chow, Raymond Chane Reviews, Aug 2022
It has attractive aromas of peach and raspberry on the nose. Intense flavours of strawberries, citrus, sherbet and a hint of tangelo on the palate.
100% Pinot Noir grapes were late harvested on 25th May 2021 allowing them time to ripen fully and produce a considerable amount of sugar. The juice was fermented in stainless steel to retain the varietal and fruit characteristics. The ferment was then stopped to retain a residual sugar of 113g/l.
Food Pairing: This wine is a perfect match with desserts or cheeses and can be enjoyed on its own.
