Luscious aromas of violets, apricot and marzipan with hints of white pepper and freshly picked herbs. Flavours of raspberry and redcurrent frame the well balanced palate which shows excellent structure, lovely light tannins and a persistent finish.
The wines of the 2021 vintage are that of balance, style and exceptional varietal characteristics. Good late winter and spring rains ensured the vine canopies grew well. Optimal flowering conditions provided the ideal environment for fruit set. Summer was mild with below average daytime temperatures and cool nights that led to the development of fabulous colour, pristine aromatics and flavours with good natural acidity.
