Yangarra Circle McLaren Vale Grenache 2024 (Australia)

Yangarra Circle McLaren Vale Grenache 2024 (Australia)

"This is a nice foil to the Old Vine bottling, showing what relatively youthful vines can do on this great site. There’s an open red-berried and cherry fruitfulness, with red florals supported by savoury spice and a foundation of purposeful natural tannin. This doesn’t have the mineral depth of the Old Vine, but the fruit vibrancy and exuberance yield their own rewards" Marcus Ellis, Halliday Wine Companion

Bright, fresh, and fruit-driven, this vibrant Nouveaux-style Grenache is crafted to be enjoyed in its youth. With refreshing acidity, lively fruit, and floral aromas, it’s an easy-drinking wine with a touch of tannin for balance.

Grown in the cooler, elevated northeast of McLaren Vale, this Grenache captures the essence of our single estate vineyard.

100% estate grown Grenache Noir, bush vines predominantly planted 2008. Hand-icked, destemmed and selectively sorted with 50% whole berries retained, tipped to open-top fermenters. Wild fermentation in stainless steel, gentle maceration on skins for approximately 15 – 21 days before pressing. 5 months maturation on lees in stainless steel and old French oak puncheons and foudre. Bottled September 2024.

Food Pairing: Juicy and medium-bodied, it pairs perfectly with your favourite dumplings.
