The Merlot gives the wine its roundness and length in the mouth, the tannins are present and already shaded. The Cabernet Sauvignon gives complexity and combined with the wooden notes makes this wine a Bordeaux of great standing.

20 miles south-east of Bordeaux, Entre- Deux-Mers area, Terroir composed by fine clay and limestone, out- crop facing south / south west, Oceanic climate.

Mid-September to mid-October during a single week, 40 - 45 hectolitres / hectare.

12 months in french oak barrels. Only new barrel from Allier Area.

Food Pairing: Red or white meats, fowl roasted or with sauce, duck parmentier... but also chocolate dessert or simple almond macaroons.
