This wine has an intense garnet red colour with purple reflections. With a beautiful aromatic power, the nose opens on notes of ripe fruit that evoke wild blackberry and redcurrant. Beautiful smoky, peppery notes appear and confer a beautiful complexity. On the palate, the mouth presents a solid structure with coated tannins. The mid-palate is fruity, keeping a great freshness and a nice balance. Subtle woody notes with vanilla bean and toasted brioche aromas contribute to a long finish. Can easily be kept for 5 to 8 years.
A blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for 12-18 months in vats.
