This wine is made from 64% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 15% Petit Verdot and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon from our younger vines and was picked in perfect conditions in late September and early October. The colour is of the wine is a light to medium red and shows a lovely bright and clean appearance.
On the nose it displays fine fresh and intense Cabernet notes with hints of raspberry and black fruits that combine nicely with the ripe fruit roundness and elegance of the Merlot. On the palate it displays more sweet concentrated blackberry and blackcurrant flavours, with soft round tannins, a delicate structure and a pleasant fruity fiinish.
It will drink well from an early age and is an ideal lunchtime or light dinner wine. Drink 2015 until 2020
